The first paw creator career

The algorithm wants content. The pack delivers paws. OnlyPaws is a local single-player creator satire with fictional fans, cartoon animals and in-game coins. All posts and reactions are part of the simulation.

Play in the browser

Start with one good shot

Choose English or Deutsch in the language picker. Language, large text and reduced motion are remembered on this device separately from saved progress.

  1. Paw Lab: Pick a husky, cat, fox or rabbit, outline color, pad color and an owned accessory. The starting look costs no coins.
  2. Start the first photo brief: The start card accepts The First Paw Pitch and prepares Cozy Setup with a matching pose. Take a photo, then select Publish.
  3. Briefs and Career: Complete photo series, upgrade the studio, choose a mentor or unlock accessories with earned coins. Free studio play remains available throughout.

A matching pose adds 20 points to the base score of 65; an unmatched pose adds five. An accessory adds five, and a matching set accessory adds five more. The personal Rush best adds up to ten. Suitable lighting, framing and props add up to six, and studio upgrades add up to nine. Scores are capped at 100.

12 photo briefs across three chapters

Accept a brief, then open it in the studio. The requirement list specifies the set, any required pose, photo settings and minimum score. Only matching posts published after accepting the brief count. A series needs new photos: return from the album to the studio, take another photo and publish it.

Switching briefs resets an unfinished series. Completed briefs and earned rewards remain. Finish all four briefs in a chapter to open the next. There are no deadlines, daily penalties or entry fees.

Light, framing, props and timing

Photo direction lets the paw take the spotlight with five lights, three frames, four filters and six prop options. Filters change the appearance. Camera, lighting and set workshops each have three upgrades costing 90, 180 and 360 earned coins.

The optional timing shot gives six seconds to release the shutter in the marked center zone, earning up to five extra points. Leaving the window ends the attempt. A standard photo remains available. The studio album filters personal posts by set and scores of 90 or higher.

Nine missions and Neon Paw Rush

Career missions reward the first post, a Cozy Setup/Soft Stretch shot at 85 or higher, a Rush score of 1,000, reading the pack code and 250 fictional fans. Further goals include a Bathtub/Bubble Crown shot at 85, forest and beach shots at 85, five different sets at 85 and four purchased accessories. Each mission pays once.

Neon Paw Rush lasts ten seconds. Hit the highlighted pad using A, S, D and F or touch. Standard gamepad A/B/X/Y maps to the four pads from top left in supported browsers. D-pad navigation, A select and B back are available in menus. Use Escape or gamepad Start to pause; losing focus pauses the round. The optional timing challenge can be skipped.

Sound, music and controller menus

Sound effects are enabled after interaction. The optional quiet music starts only when Music is enabled. Sound, Music and Volume are separate controls and their settings stay on this device independently of progress. Audio stops when the game loses focus; blocked audio never prevents play.

Navigate with the D-pad or left stick. A selects and B returns. On a selection field or volume slider, press A, change with left/right, then press A or B to finish. Rush shows A/B/X/Y with a standard controller; Start pauses and resumes. A paused round can be left without a reward. On small displays the active round uses a compact view with the timer, all four pads and pause visible.

Keep progress safe

  1. Open Career → Export save and keep the JSON file outside the game.
  2. On another device, choose Import save. Check the displayed level and fans.
  3. Replace confirms the import; Cancel keeps current progress. Back up the destination save first.

New exports use OnlyPaws v5. Existing OnlyPaws v4 and PawFans v4 exports remain importable. Older clients cannot open v5. Text backups are also available under Career. Changing the interface language leaves saved catalog values and progression unchanged; known built-in captions are translated for display, while imported custom text keeps its original wording.

Accounts and storage

On the configured official website, Monkey ID is the recommended optional login for a personal creator name and central publisher identity. Guest mode includes the complete current game. An account does not upload or synchronize saved progress. Packaged clients can play locally without a login service.

Progress belongs to the current browser or client profile. Clearing its storage may delete it. Export before changing devices or domains. If saving fails, export before reloading. Try saving again after a temporary storage issue. If another tab saved, its progress is protected.

What is real?

OnlyPaws has no real subscriptions, payouts, public chats, photo uploads or real-money coin purchases. Paws for good is reserved for verified animal-welfare partners; none are listed yet. Donations provide no game benefits. An official age rating has not been granted; the content target is USK 12 or lower.

A clearer creator workflow

The studio checklist explains the active brief using the same requirements as publication rewards. It marks the set, required pose, staging and score. A preview excludes the optional timing bonus; only a matching new capture counts when published. “Apply brief requirements” adjusts the set, pose and required staging without buying equipment or changing the paw look. It discards an existing capture. Free publication remains possible.

In the album, sort by publication order or score, combine set/quality/favorite filters, and reset an empty selection. The heart marks a local favorite; this uses the existing save format and never sends a real social reaction.

Open Settings beside the language selector for display and audio. Escape or controller B closes the dialog and returns focus. Opening settings during Rush pauses the round; controller Start cannot resume it under the dialog. Reduced motion also applies to dialogs and notifications.
